“iTec” Promotion – Terms and Conditions

1. The promoter is Schneider Electric (NZ) Limited of 38 Business Parade South, Highbrook, East Tamaki, Manukau.

Entry into this promotion is deemed to be acceptance of these terms and  conditions.

2. To enter, entrants must hold or open an account at a participating electrical  wholesaler of  Schneider Electric products within New Zealand.

Entry is restricted to purchases made at New Zealand-based electrical  wholesalers.

3. Employees of:
  (i) Schneider Electric, its wholly-owned subsidiaries; and
  (ii) participating electrical wholesalers

   and their families are ineligible to enter.

4. The promotion starts on 7.00am Monday, 19th June 2010 and closes at  6.00pm on Saturday, 31st July 2010 (Promotion Period) and will only  remain open while Participating Products are available.

5. To participate, an account-holder must purchase over $5000 total at invoice  prices excluding GST of the following Schneider Electric products  from a participating Schneider Electric wholesaler within the Promotion Period:

• C-Bus
• 800 series
• Saturn 250V
• Slimline series
• LexCom Audio
• Lexcom Home

(“Participating Products”).

6. To claim your Apple product, email scanned copies of your invoices showing the account holder name together with account holder’s address and telephone contact details to itec@nz.schneider-electric.com and receive an Apple product as follows:

• purchases of Participating Products during the Promotion Period totaling $5,000-$9,999 will be rewarded with one prize of an Apple iPod touch 32GB;
• purchases of Participating Products during the Promotion Period totaling $10,000-$14,999 will be rewarded with one prize of an Apple iPhone 3GS 16GB;
• purchases of Participating Products during the Promotion Period totaling $15,000 and over will be rewarded with one prize of an Apple iPad Wi-Fi model 16GB;
• an account-holder making purchases of Participating Products during the Promotion Period totaling over $20,000 may choose a combination of  items which correspond with the values as nominated above.

All Apple rewards:

• All claims must be received by 5.00pm on Friday, 6th August 2010. The Promoter’s decision is final and the Promoter will not be liable for any failure of an entrant’s email system or other electronic failure that delays the receipt by Promoter of an otherwise valid claim. 
• Receipt of all valid claims will be confirmed by email and/or by phone to the contact details as provided on the claim, after 9 August 2010. 
• In relation to valid claims, Apple products will be sent out to claimants after 23 August 2010.
• The reward of the iPod Touch, the iPad or the iPhone is the property of the account holder and not the individual who made the purchase.
• Schneider Electric reserves the right to contact the wholesaler named in the claim to confirm the claimant is an account holder and to confirm account holder address and contact details.  Schneider Electric reserves the right to disqualify a claim not made in accordance with these terms and conditions.
• All Apple products are subject to manufacturers warranty and any faults are not the responsibility of Schneider Electric NZ Ltd.
• The rewards do not include connection costs, call costs, insurance or any other usage costs. These are the sole responsibility of the claimant.

 iPad

• The iPad reward is subject to availability. Schneider Electric NZ will endeavor to get the iPad to winners as soon as it is available in New Zealand. If the iPad is not released in New Zealand within one month after the promotion ends, Schneider Electric NZ Ltd reserves the right to substitute the iPad with a similar alternative electronic item of equivalent or higher value.  Schneider Electric reserves the right to determine an appropriate substitute product.
• The colour of the Apple reward will be randomly chosen by Schneider Electric NZ Ltd. No products will be swapped if the winner does not receive their desired colour.
  
  
• All rewards are non-transferable and cannot be taken as cash unless otherwise stated.
• In the event that any reward item is unavailable despite Schneider Electric’s reasonable endeavors to procure that item within New Zealand, Schneider Electric reserves the right to substitute a different prize item of equal or greater value.
• Schneider Electric’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
• By submitting a claim by email, account-holders automatically agree to these terms and conditions.
• Incomplete claims are not valid.
• Schneider Electric is not liable for any loss or damage whatsoever which is suffered, including but not limited to indirect or consequential loss, or for personal injury suffered or sustained during the course of accepting or using the prize, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law.
• Prize values are correct at the time of printing but no responsibility is accepted for any variation in the value of any prizes.
• All claims become the property of Schneider Electric.  All details will be held in accordance with the Schneider Electric Privacy Policy, which can be accessed at www.schneider-electric.co.nz
• Schneider Electric reserves the right to modify these Terms and Conditions without prior notice.
