Video: How to program basic functionality into a C-Bus eDLT?

Objective:
This video shows how to program an eDLT with the ability to turn on, off or dim a light, as well as program a scene for controlling multiple lights.
 
Product Line:
C-Bus Wired eDLT
 
Environment:
Windows Vista, Windows 7, Windows 8, Windows 8.1, Windows 10
 
Cause:
New product to market, customers may not be familiar with the unit
 
Solution:
 Programming basic functionality
 
 
 
1. Open eDLT interface within C-Bus Toolkit
2. Select Key Settings Tab from the tabs at the top
3. Specify Widget type of lighting
4. Select group address and key function On/Off
5. Select label type of static text, and type a label in
6. Repeat steps 3-5 with a function of Dimmer Down/Dimmer Up to create a dimmer function
7. Press OK to save changes to unit
 
Programming Scene functionality
1. Open eDLT interface within C-Bus Toolkit
2. Select Scene Manager at the bottom of the interface
3. Create desired scenes, with Scene Label, Trigger Group and Action Selector (Action Selector must be unique per scene)
4. Press OK to save
5. Under the Key Settings tab, Specify a Widget type of Scene on the desired button.
6. Select key function of Cycle Down / Cycle Up
7. Add the scene list, and select the order of the scenes desired.
8. Specify Scene Label under Label Type
9. Press OK to save changes to unit
